69-Word Review of “Doctor Strange”

If you don’t care that you’ve seen this movie before (*cough* “Iron Man” *cough*, etc.), you will find it enjoyable and very funny. Marvel is sticking too close to its formula. This movie could have really delivered in a lot of ways, but chose to play it safe and instead color by (psychedelic) numbers. And I did enjoy the white female Ancient One, but I felt bad doing so.

I like the casting news!

A lot is expected from this film, and I think Marvel Films, after 13 middling to massive hits, will not let this one falter. I think “Captain America: Civil War,” the greatest Marvel movie yet, did a good job of introducing him.

 

A Rumor I Hope Is True About The Next “Thor” Movie

I admit that “Planet Hulk” (the animated movie here, for the moment 🙂 , if you want to watch it) will win no awards for originality (it’s essentially Hulk as the star of “Flash Gordon” or “John Carter of Mars”), it’s still arguably the greatest Hulk story ever told. That’s why I hope this rumor is true, and the Silver Surfer (above) will be replaced by a certain Thunder God.
