Spidey Joins The MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe)!
Okay, big news, but no real surprise here. Real wheeling-dealing!
(I feel bad for the “Amazing Spider-Man” folks, since I guess it means that it’s all over for them, their coming plotlines, sequels, spinoffs, etc. The other losers–for a while–are hardcore fans of “Black Panther,” which now has been moved to 2018. Really, all the movies have been moved back one slot.)
This means he can join the coming “Civil War” movie adaptation (where, in the comics, he unmasks) and basically be in everybody’s movie, like Black Widow.

And now we know the membership of TV’s Teen Titans.
WOW! But I guess it is time, after 50 years!
And, speaking of Marvel:
Okay, Marvel is going with Ultimate Fantastic Four. (After all, the movie Avengers is Ultimate Avengers, so…) I read it, and didn’t hate it. So we’ll see if I like it, even if it’s not my Fantastic Four.
Crossover?!? YES!!!! I’m still excited! Less than four months to go!
Lotta geek buzz for “Agent Carter!” I try to catch glimpses of it when I’m home.

Superhero crossovers now becoming a new television tradition, while “Gotham” settles into praise and criticism.

“Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol”
Easily one of the best Christmas animated specials.
As a kid, I always thought this was a “special episode” of a Saturday morning cartoon I liked to watch in its syndicated, early morning 1970 reruns: “The Famous Adventures of Mister Magoo.”
So I was surprised to know that the opposite was true: that it was the popularity of the Christmas special that spawned this show!

Superhero TV And Movie Explosion!
WOW! The “Mid-Winter Finales” (a new concept for me) of the CW’s “Flash” and “Arrow” and ABC’s “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” were all very good!
And it’s now official: there is too much product for me to follow! LOL! Boy, be careful of what you wish for when you are 15! LOL!
