Well, that’s a tricky and relative question. I know very little about Archie Comics, Image, Boom!, IDW, etc. I know *a lot* about Marvel and only a little bit on DC. I own a lot of Marvel and DC omnibuses, mostly the former. I’ve recently become interested in EC Comics and I own some of the Sci-Fi/Fantasy volumes. (I put my DC’s Blackest Night omnibus with that group.) I watch a *lot* of YouTube breakdown videos so I have a working knowledge of DC. I’ve seen half of the existing “mainstream” documentaries on American superhero comics. I have a complete set of Milestone Comics, all five compendiums. I have both volumes of “Black Comix.” I own and have read what I consider key American superhero comics- history scholarly books, including full bios of Lee, Kirby and Ditko. I focus on the 20th century, so I’m proud to have read “new” Marvel collections such as Hickman’s “Avengers: Time Runs Out” and “Secret Wars,” which now has me prepped for the coming MCU movies. Oh, and I spent the ’90s reading those TwoMorrows fanzines such as The Jack Kirby Collector. So, in total, very little! LOLOLOL
Peace,
Heavy incessant yappin’ concerning this series. That good?
Yep!
So, how thorough is Dr. Burroughs when it comes to his knowledge base about comics?
