…….this documentary.
Between this and “The Legend of Cool Disco Dan,” which aired a little over a week ago on WHUT-TV, I got a crash-course in D.C. history.

…….but I did feel this season felt a little more uneven than normal. It could be that it took me the whole season to adjust to the new Doctor. And boy, I said I wanted a darker Doctor, but instead I got a dark season. The good episodes were really good, Coleman showed she deserved to be the star of this season, and Season 8 was different, I’ll give it that. With more than 50 episodes into the “Nu Who,” the 50th anniversary, etc., maybe I’m suffering from “Doctor Who” fatigue.
I thought this was amusing!
NOVEMBER 18th UPDATE: This was funny, and GREAT!
And once again, “Children In Need” gets the sneak preview of the Christmas Special!
NOVEMBER 22nd UPDATE: Enjoyed this article.
DECEMBER 1st UPDATE: Okay, it was good to get these “mild spoilers.”
DECEMBER 13th UPDATE: Moffat answers his critics here.
Saw this on WHUT-TV last night! Growing up in the shadow of New York City, it was interesting to see the similarities in the contemporary histories of Black communities in NYC and DC.
I’m very happy to say that this documentary, on one of the loves of my life, met its Kickstarter goal and has been released! I can’t wait to see it!

This was one of those things I kept meaning to find and watch! It’s OK. Perhaps the problem was the producers tried to modernize the concept a bit too much. Making Wondy a post-911 thuggish solo operative was a bit jarring.
Which is a big deal to me, since I wrote a chapter, “The Spy King: How Christopher Priest’s Version of the Black Panther Shook Up Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!”
The book’s “Table Of Contents” can be found here.
Finally looked this up because I’m obsessing about the “Doctor Strange” casting!
WOW! A “Sherlock” Christmas special next year AND Season 4 followed by a “Doctor Strange” movie in 2016! YES!!!!
NOVEMBER 8th UPDATE: LOL!
DECEMBER 1st UPDATE: LOL!
Enjoyed the first, particularly since I knew most of the villains from the comics. Can’t wait to see what is next, since, with Thanos as the baddie, I kinda know a little! LOL!
The “Thor” movies keep getting better, and with Loki and that title, how can it lose?
If anybody can take out Wonder Woman at the box office, it’s Carol Danvers!
As Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said, with the amount of characters to deal with here, this could be a whole group of films right here!
******************************************
So what have we learned from all this? That especially when we count the Nextflix deal, Marvel has LOST ITS DAMN MIND!!!! LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But what about Black Widow and the Hulk, the two utility characters in the Avengers movies? asked USA Today.
(And no SHIELD movie! Sorry, Sam! You’ll just have to continue being THE MAN is alladeese! LOL!)
(I also wonder how angry fanboys/girls are with the idea that Tony Stark/Iron Man will not be in his own movies. I think his trilogy is done, and I’m glad.)
MOVIE-LOVERS, PLEASE NOTE: I found a combined list of all of the announced Marvel (those that are part of “Phase Three” as well as not) and DC films here. My count is 31 films (!) over the next six (!) years!
And it is wrong–ungrateful, even!–to ask for The Silver Surfer? It is? Okay! I’ll wait! LOL! 🙂
The man who has made me a fan of Sherlock Holmes becoming Dr. Strange?!? A PERFECT MATCH! Tears of joy are welling in my eyes by just typing this! LOL!
NOVEMBER 1st UPDATE: And lookit the list! NO COMPARISON!
This will be an amazing experience!
(I hated the comic, because I thought the characters were just serving the story, not their own established personalities. But the movie characterizations of Cap and Shellhead have done a GREAT job prepping me for it!)
NOVEMBER 2nd UPDATE: And just a reminder how far we’ve come….!
