Even though ONCE again it’s another white guy.
(By the way, if you can follow the above comicbook news from a few years back, you can see where the “Captain America” movie series might be heading.)
JUNE 3rd UPDATE: This is good news!

JUNE 3rd UPDATE: This is good news!
So now we know that Marvel has now set a bar of quality it won’t go under. So even the “bad” reviews are not bad. Good! It only took MY WHOLE LIFE, but that’s OK. 🙂
APRIL 16th UPDATE: So rumors are circulating that this movie will have a tragic ending–one Emma Stone wanted when she signed up, knowing about the history (DON’T CLICK IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW). Good to know.
APRIL 21st UPDATE: Gulp!
OOOOkay! NOW this show is FINALLY making sense! But did we really have to wait THHHIISS LOOOONNNNGGGG for it to get some direction?
So the whole season was just holding space for “Captain America: The Winter Soldier?” No wonder the season went soooo slow and had no answers!
Last night’s episode was the first one that could be compared to, say, a bad episode of “Arrow.”
(And the shocker turncoat Ward is deep-undercover! I’m not tricked! 🙂 )
And Fury’s in the Season Finale!
With Marvel planning to release movies for, well, forever, it looks like a new age–the Marvel Age of Media. 🙂 Marvel has gotten so cocky, it’s scheduling “Cap 3” against Superman, Batman AND Wonder Woman! LOL! 🙂
I have to admit that I watched “Boy Meets World” from pilot to finale on Friday nights in the 1990s–the “TGIF”-on-ABC days. So this is just proof I’m REAL OLD. 😉
Heeeheeehee….. 🙂
…………this feels a little too 15-years-too-late or too Kim K for me. 🙂
And what about the huge historical error?
This is (and soon, was) the only Archie title I’ve ever read from No. 1, subscribed to and collected. It was a good book, but I did feel it was running out of steam.
I gotta give Archie Comics credit. The company has learned how to be relevant in the/to teens (See this story’s accompanying video). 🙂 Gay characters who get married. Zombies (watch the scary trailer!). Marrying Archie off–not just to Betty and Veronica, but even to fine-ass Valerie from Josie and the Pussycats!
Here are the variant covers to Nos. 36 and 37:
(Leave it to Mike Allred to do something that weird 😉 )
……….but I LOVE Damian Wayne (may he Rest in Peace). So of course I’ll buy it when it comes out.
I’m not in complete love with this film the way the non-superhero-movie-hating critics are, but I did like it. I think Marvel has spoiled me, so I just want every film to have all of the Avengers in it. 🙂
APRIL 9th UPDATE: Been interested in all of this.
And the reviews are quite positive!
YES! And since Marvel is now Disney and Disney is Pixar, there’s gotta be a cartoon for all eight somewhere on a drawing board!
(Phony 1970s homage comicbook cover above, but GREAT idea!)
