Move Over, “Doctor Who!” My New British TV Obsession is PBS’ “Masterpiece Mystery: Sherlock!”
Where has this show been all my life?!? 🙂 I finally gave it a try a couple of weeks ago, and now I’m hooked FOR GOOD!
The Season 3 finale airs tomorrow night! I’ll probably only see part of it then, but will find the repeats during the week before finding all the back episodes online.
“X-Men: Days Of Future Past” Instagram Trailers
Okay, I’m my old ass is gonna look up what the HELL is an “Instragram trailer”! 🙂
Ah, The Power Of This Image (And $1.5 Billion Worldwide :))
I don’t know about Warner Bros. film executives’ sleeping habits 🙂 , but with all of the motion around the “Man of Steel” sequel, it’s clear the above image keeps them up at night. 🙂
FEBRUARY 2nd UPDATE: And yes, this makes sense when you think about it long enough. Who would Lex Luthor be in 2014? Right! 🙂 So who better to play him (again) 🙂 ?
Morrie Turner Is Now An Ancestor
I don’t think it’s emphasized enough that the brother had an ABC cartoon based on his strip, a rare honor–especially back then.
“Wee Pals” never ran in any paper I remember. But as a little tyke, I do remember this show because it would come on Saturday mornings in the early 1970s. I watched it while waiting for “Superfriends” (then a NEW program) to come on! 🙂
Newark Mayoral Election Heats Up
Yes, racist New York Post, campaigning in the ghetto is rough. Just ask Cory Booker. 🙂
Lupita Nyong’o Wins Again! (Screen Actors Guild)
Wow! With SAG and the Golden Globes under her belt, it’s clear who the Best Supporting Actress Oscar belongs.
Lupita Nyong’o Wins Critics’ Choice Film Award For “Best Supporting Actress” Last Night
I’m glad she won this award, especially after what she had to do for it (think: the worst of “Glory” merged with the famous scene from “Monster’s Ball” that all Black people know). While watching “12 Years a Slave,” all I thought of when I saw her was this moment. 🙂 It was a very sincere and heartwarming speech.
Hell Hath Frozen Over, And The Earth Is Coming To An End! (“Batman” TV show on DVD)
Fanboys have called for this FOREVER!
(And I thought the above was hilarious when I found it on Youtube. 🙂 )
JANUARY 27th UPDATE: I’ve posted “The Dark Knight” version of the 1966 intro before, and now I just found this! LOL! 🙂
MARCH 31st UPDATE: Smart idea!
