A magnificent 43-year run comes to an end. If people do what they’re supposed to do, this program will neither be gone or forgotten. So let’s just wait and see.

Is Tavis getting to be a better, more skeptical interviewer (I guess he should be, after seven years 😉 ), or is he just hatin’ here because of the subject? Either way, good interview.
(And it’s interesting to me that a well-known retired Black journalist who has always believed in being critical of Black leadership is smacking Tavis because he gave a tough interview about a president who has gone out of his way to not serve Black people. Who is the hater, really? :))

It will surprise no one who knows me that it was “Doonesbury” that got me into following the worlds of the White House Press Corps and national politics as a teenager. So I enjoyed chuckling over this whole thing.
"The Muppet Show" Meets "Amos 'N' Andy?"
If “House of Payne” and “Meet The Browns” shows the greatness of “Amos ‘N’ Andy,” this (thankfully!) failed 2008 minstrel show (!) “Alligator Boots” pilot makes “The Muppet Show” look like….well, “The Muppet Show” was pretty good, so….. 🙂
