Puny humans saw Hulk’s new movie this past weekend. Mixed reviews. Hulk hate puny humans who talk bad about Hulk!

Hulk movie real good. Hulk liked the other movie, too, but it made too many puny humans’ heads hurt. Made Hulk’s hurt, too. Hulk like the new movie better. Hulk SMASH more!

New Hulk movie made good money, and kicked back famous movie-man’s film to No. 2 in American box office. But puny human beat Hulk worldwide.

NO!

HULK IS THE STRONGEST ONE THERE IS! See Hulk’s new movie, or Hulk will SMASH ALL puny humans!

Brief Comicbook Review: "Dion Floyd's 'Immortal Kiss,'" Nos. 1 and 2

immkiss1.jpg

A colleague of mine at work peeped me to this, since he’s boyz with Dion Floyd. (Neat rhyme, huh? 🙂 )

Plot: Two detectives get caught up in a vampire civil war when a vamp decides to be a serial killer.

Verdict: Too many missed punctuation marks marred the reading for this former copyeditor, but this is a very STRONG effort. The artwork shows potential, and Floyd and Co. definitely are on the way to mastering the rhythm of comicbook dialogue and narrative. Like “Law and Order” and miss “Buffy”? Then pick up the two issues I checked out.

After Almost 20 Years, "Indy 4" Delivers

So it only took a half-hour or so before I was giggling like a little kid again.

I don’t think anything could ever surpass “Raiders,” and my personal favorite will still be “Crusade,” but I’ve already seen the new film three times, and you better believe I’m going back.

Yes, Cate didn’t stray from her one note. Yep, Indy is grave-robbing from indigenous peoples again. And c’mon: the baby-daddy thang again? First Superman, now Indy….. 🙂 But the film is masterly made like the Saturday afternoon fun-fest it’s supposed to be.

Lucas and Spielberg deliver some yummy pizza that’s warm, not stale. Yes, it tastes the same, but if you love the food, it should, right? 🙂
